Résumé : | For the first time in Europe, company efforts in the area of continuing vocational education and training can be measured with the help of indicators jointly devised to meet the needs of a Community-wide statistical survey. This new source allows for a fuller reading of the French data within a European context. It can be seen, for example, that the French case is characterised by relatively frequent use of training courses and, to a lesser degree, training in a work situation. Conversely, self-training and more informal training situations (lectures, workshops, job rotation, quality circles) are not widespread. |
