Résumé : | Over the last two decades across Europe, young women’s position in the labour market has improved. Better qualified and with participation rates on the increase, they have also begun to narrow the pay gap and to gain access to occupations and sectors that used to be largely male preserves. In France, however, this convergence between men and women has been driven in part by a deterioration in men’s situation. And despite everything, inequalities persist, particularly in access to cadre status, i.e. to managerial, executive and professional positions. |
