Résumé : | Despite their preference for selective vocational programmes, many youths of North African backgrounds, including female youths, are diverted toward academic university programmes. To what extent do successful or unsuccessful applications to a chosen programme determine higher education outcomes and transition to work, particularly for female North African youths? Our results show that unemployment is higher for drop-outs for both North African men and women compared to their French counterparts. |
