Résumé : | The environmental quality of buildings is an opportunity and, at the same time, a challenge for architects. On the one hand, it gives them a chance to make ‘sustainability’ part of the overall objective of architectural quality; on the other hand, it requires them to acquire new knowledge and competences in a context characterised by economic difficulties and the repositioning of many actors in construction. It is also a challenge for architect training, which has to respond to contemporary issues. |
