Résumé : | Our article presents a qualitative survey based on 16 entrepreneurs who were interviewed about the impact of their entrepreneurial project on their health and well-being. The analysis shows an evolution over time of entrepreneur’s attitude towards health, with the emergence of four main phases: (1) denial, (2) breakdown, (3) awareness, and (4) action that aims to restore physical and mental state through a better life equilibrium. The main contribution of our research is to show that entrepreneurship may have, for the same individual, both negative/pathogenic and positive/salutogenic health effects, whose relative importance varies depending on the moment of project development for which the entrepreneurship-health relationship is investigated. |
