Résumé : | The rate of female activity has risen continuously over the past thirty-five years, and women now constitute 45 percent of the labour force. But this hardly means that differences between men and women on the labour market have disappeared. In particular, women's careers remain more sharply marked by extra-professional events. Nonetheless, the persistence of inequalities does not exclude the emergence of encouraging trends, and in this respect, the diploma seems to be an instrument of change. |
