Résumé : | Federal policy has pursued two general types of educational reform efforts intended to improve school-to-work transitions. The papers in this symposium consider both types of reform efforts, and how they contribute to successful school-to-work transitions. The emphasis on both types of educational reform represents a deliberate attempt to consider more carefully the wisdom of the sharp policy shift from a focus on explicit school-to-work programs to test-based reforms. |
