RĂ©sumĂ© : | This study utilizes person-environment fit theory to explore how person-job fit and person-organization fit influence employeesâ entrepreneurial intentions (EIs) via job stress, with entrepreneurial self-efficacy acting as a moderator. Data from 342 service sector employees in Pakistan were analyzed using structural equation modeling in Mplus 7.0. Results indicate that poor person-job and person-organization fits significantly increase job stress, thereby enhancing EIs. Moreover, this effect is pronounced in employees with high entrepreneurial self-efficacy, demonstrating the critical role of individual confidence in navigating job mismatches toward entrepreneurial pursuits. |
