Résumé : | Greeting jobs require an extensive set of professional skills and practices. Over and above the wide range of jobs involved, the most obvious aspect of this skill set is the relational component. It also has a less visible aspect, namely self-organisation and the ability to ‘go fishing for information’. However, a number of current developments may well be preventing workers from making full use of the skills they have acquired. |
