| Résumé : | The trade sector covers a field of highly diversified activities, in terms not only of products-from food products and pharmaceuticals to furniture and industrial equipment- but also of marketing procedures-wholesaling and retailing-and the size of its companies. And it is also an extremely vast field in terms of personnel, for it employs the largest number of wage-earners in France and includes a great number of selfemployed persons. Reflecting this variety, its forms of labour management are quite diverse as well. |
