| Résumé : | The aim of this evaluation is to assess actions taken by the 28 Member States and by the Commission in response to the Council Recommendation on the integration of the long term unemployed into the labour market of 15 February 2016 in line with the reporting obligation set therein. The evaluation results feed into the Commission report to the Council and are used to shed light on future possible action. The evaluation assesses to what extent the general and specific objectives of the Recommendation have been achieved, to what extent the guidelines provided in the Recommendation have translated into new policies and planned changes, as well as, the way these have influenced the use of structural funds in the Members States.
