| Résumé : | This study examines gender norms in urban Colombia, focusing on how men and women perceive their spouses’ and neighbors’ views on women's employment. It reveals significant pluralistic ignorance even within couples, with many women incorrectly assuming that others hold more conservative views about women's employment. Correcting these misperceptions could help boost women’s labor force participation. |
